Raven Yard Antiques - About Us Our Origins

Raven Yard Antiques was started by the Ebbs family in the historic market town of Whitchurch, Shropshire. The premises, a historic 17th century property previously known as the Raven Inn being our inspiration for the present brand.

Our Direction

Our business has grown significantly from being only a small shop. Today, we have over £100,000 of goods registered on our site and as we are eager to attract business, our site is 100% free to use for the foreseeable future. We are rapidly expanding and hope to be a simple to use, extremely low cost alternative to the expensive large ecommerce companies and auctioneers who dominate the market.

Buying and Selling

As long as the products you are selling are legal, and are either collectibles or 100+ years old, we happy for you to create an account and start selling on our website. Our site is designed to allow potential buyers to promote their own products, connect sellers and buyers directly and agree upon a price via email, in person or over the phone. Our website does not have an inbuilt payment system as we strongly encourage both parties to organise payment between themselves.

Other Services

Although one of our chief ambitions is to act as a networking tool between buyers and sellers, we also understand the difficulty some people have when dealing with finances. Our website not only records the selling price of products but can also be used to record the buying price of items and act as a simple accounting tool for those who want their accounts to be done automatically.
